Ghana again registered superiority over neighbours Nigeria when the Black Galaxies defeated their Super Eagles B to book qualification to next year’s CHAN tournament in Algeria.
In the first leg, Ghana won 2-0 thanks to goals from Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Suraj Seidu but in the second leg, Nigeria also won 2-0 in Abuja.
The game went straight to penalties and Ghana clinched a 5-4 victory over Super Eagles B, sealing qualification to the African Nations Championship tournament for the first time since 2014.
