Ghanaian teenager, Abdul Fatawu has revealed his words of encouragement to the English star which ultimately propelled the Foxes to Victory against Watford.
Playing at the King Power Stadium in round 17 of the English Champion, Black Stars player Abdul Fatawu helped Jamie Vardy psychological to overcome a difficult first half after the Foxes star striker proved profligate Infront of goal.
“In football anything can happen. I knew he would score as he always does so I was not worried about his missed chances. I
know Jamie is an experienced player but sometimes something small can help someone. “When something like that happens, you just need someone to talk to you so you get your energy back, so I went to him. I was so happy for him and afterwards I went to him and said: ‘I knew you were going to score, I’m not surprised.'” the ex-Sporting Lisbon player said after the game.
