Callum Hudson-Odoi delivered a brilliant performance, scoring twice and setting up another goal as Nottingham Forest recorded a convincing 3-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at the City Ground.

The English-Ghanaian winger was at the heart of Forest’s dominance, leading a display that left Tottenham struggling throughout the contest, especially in the second half.

Forest opened the scoring in the 27th minute after pressure forced a mistake from Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario. A misplaced pass allowed Ibrahim Sangaré to win the ball and find Hudson-Odoi, who calmly finished into an unguarded net.

The home side remained in control before the break, coming close to adding more goals through Nikola Milenković and Sangaré, while Tottenham offered little attacking threat.

Early in the second half, Hudson-Odoi struck again in dramatic fashion. Cutting in from the left, he sent the ball into the box, and Vicario misread its flight as it sailed over him and into the far corner, doubling Forest’s lead.

Tottenham failed to mount a meaningful response despite making several changes, managing just one effort on target late in the game. Forest, however, continued to press and sealed the result in the 77th minute.

Hudson-Odoi turned provider, laying the ball into the path of Sangaré, whose powerful strike from outside the box hit the post before going in to make it 3-0.

The City Ground erupted as Forest comfortably saw out the match. Hudson-Odoi received loud applause from the fans when he was substituted late on, capping a memorable outing.

The win strengthens Nottingham Forest’s position in the league and highlights their impressive home form, while Tottenham leave Nottingham facing renewed concerns after a disappointing and error-filled performance.
