Callum Hudson-Odoi has reaffirmed his ambition to play for the England national team despite missing out on the latest squad.
The Nottingham Forest winger, who last played for the Three Lions in 2019, believes he still has what it takes to compete at the highest level.
“If the possibility and chance [for England] comes – I will have to go there and prove myself all over again,” Hudson-Odoi admitted. “I just control what I can control. It’s about enjoying my football once again, smiling, and being positive.”
Having faced ups and downs in his career, the former Chelsea star remains focused on regaining his top form. With strong performances in the Premier League, Hudson-Odoi hopes to catch the attention of England’s selectors once more.
At just 23 years old, the talented winger still dreams of wearing the England jersey again. “I don’t want to prove anything to anybody,” he said. “It is about proving to myself that I can still be that player I was.”
