Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Afriyie Sabbi has expressed his satisfaction at joining French club Le Havre.
The Ghanaian-born American attacker has joined the newly-promoted team on a four-year deal ahead of the 2023-24 campaign in France.
His excitement comes after he successfully completed his transfer from Danish club Odense BK to the French Ligue 2 team on Thursday during the active transfer window.
“Bonjour, Emmanuel Sabbi here. I am glad to sign for such a historic club. I can’t wait to meet you guys,” he said after his unveiling.
The talented attacker, who is also a dual citizen of Ghana and the United States, has agreed to a four-year contract with Le Havre that will keep him with the team through June 2027.
In accordance with the terms of the agreement, Odense BK will get €1 million in addition to any prospective bonuses and a portion of any future transfer fees in the event that Sabbi is transferred once more.
