Antoine Semenyo, who recently signed with Bournemouth of the Premier League, says he is eager to begin his career with the club.
On Friday, January 27, Bournemouth officially announced that the 23-year-old had transferred from Bristol City to the team.
The transfer cost was agreed upon by Bristol and Bournemouth on Thursday, and the player underwent his medical later that day before appearing before the media for his photographs and unveiling video on Friday.
“It’s unbelievable, to be honest. I had been waiting a while for this to be done and I am happy it is done. I can’t wait to get started,” he told the club’s media.
“[The Bournemouth] interest was from last summer but injury occurred and I downplayed a bit but I continued and came back from injury, started playing well and the interest came back so I can’t complain.”
Before joining AFC Bournemouth, there was interest from clubs including Southampton, Burnley and Crystal Palace.
