Ghanaian striker Jordan Ayew says he opted to play for English Premier side Crystal Palace to ‘continue improving’ as a player.
The Ghanaian International joined the Eagles on the deadline day of the summer transfer on a season- long loan deal from championship side Swansea City.

Speaking about his move, Ayew aid: “I am very pleased to be here. It’s been a long transfer window but finally I got a move. The important thing for me now is to get fit and to be in good shape, and I know the manager wants to use me up front and make things happen”
He added ”I chose to come to Palace to continue improving. It’s a step up for me and I’m ready for the challenge and to get to where I think I can get to.”

Ayew, 26, boasts plenty of Premier League experience having played for Aston Villa and Swansea during the last four seasons, and was named the Swans’ Players’ Player of the Season last term after ending the campaign with 11 goals to his name, including strikes home and away against Palace.
