‘I dedicate my winning goal to my late father’ – Joseph Paintsil after Genk’s win over Anderlecht

Ghana forward Joseph Paintsil has dedicated his last-gasp strike in win over RSC Anderlecht for KRC Genk in Belgium.

The former Tema Youth FC player scored the only goal of the match to put Genk through to the quarter final of the 2022-23 Belgium Cup.

He scored in the 95th minute mark of the first period of extra time in the round of 16 stage game of the Cup competition at the club.

“Thank you, God, No matter where I am, I know your spirit will be beside me.This goal is for you, daddy. May your humble soul rest in peace”, he Tweeted.
