Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC young defender Augustine Agyapong is in ecstacy after his first goal for the club on Sunday afternoon at home in the Premier League.
The Ghana Black Satellites defender scored the winning goal for the Reds who came from behind to beat newbies Samartex FC 2-1 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
Kotoko went down to an early second-half goal when Samartex struck first through Prince Antwi four minutes into the second 45 minutes of the match.
Youngster Nicholas Mensah restored parity for the Porcupine Warriors 14 minutes away from the full time whistle.
“I enjoyed that one…. I hope you did too”, he wrote on social media after the game.
Agyapong grabbed the winning goal for the home team on the 86th minute mark with a wonderful free-kick to give Kotoko their third win of the season.
