Oli Rahman, a legendary player of Asante Kotoko, has admitted that he has been finding it tough to keep up with the team’s recent matches due to their underwhelming performances.
Asante Kotoko, who were unable to defend their Ghana Premier League title, had a disappointing season that left Rahman disheartened. In an interview with Kessben TV’s Extra Time, the former Ghana midfielder revealed that he has been struggling to watch Kotoko’s games because of their lackluster efforts.
Rahman expressed his difficulty in watching Asante Kotoko games due to their poor performance, stating that it has become challenging, disheartening, and uncomfortable for him. He shared that he can no longer watch the matches until they are over and instead checks the results afterward.
“Due to the team’s poor performance, it has become quite challenging, disheartening, and uncomfortable for me to watch Asante Kotoko matches. I find it difficult to watch the entire game and prefer to check the results afterward,” Rahman expressed.
On Sunday, Asante Kotoko will play their final game of the Ghana Premier League against Dreams FC at the Baba Yara Stadium. As of now, the team sits in fourth place in the league standings with 51 points, heading into their last match of the season.
