Ghana’s Black Stars ex-captain Asamoah Gyan is not thinking about retirement plans for now as he continues training for his comeback to the sport he loves best.
The former Sunderland man says he’s been training for some time now and he feels good as he’s not considering retirement soon.
Speaking on Kessben FM in Kumasi, Gyan insisted that he is working assiduously to return to active football, adding that he is currently in good shape.
“I have been training for some time now and I feel good,” he said.
“I will only quit when my body does not respond well but at the moment, I am fit and well and I hope to return soon.
“Personally, I am doing anything possible to come back because football is my passion,” He concluded.
Asamoah Gyan last played for the Black Stars at the 2019 Africa Cup Nations- AFCON in Egypt.
