Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus consistently upholds a standard of excellence every time he steps onto the football pitch, regardless of the setting or competition level.
Returning from the 2023 AFCON in Cote D’Ivoire, Kudus reflected on his unwavering commitment in a post-game interview following West Ham’s 1-1 draw against AFC Bournemouth in the English Premier League. Notably, he played a pivotal role by winning a penalty kick, expertly converted by James Ward-Prowse in the 61st minute to level the score after Dominic Solanke’s early 1-0 lead for Bournemouth.
Despite missing four games due to his AFCON participation, Kudus showcased his impact throughout the match, emphasizing his resolute determination to contribute significantly to The Hammers post-AFCON.
In his own words, Kudus stated, “Every time I step onto the pitch, my motivation remains consistent. Regardless of the location or competition, my focus is unwavering to continually improve in every game.”
Despite his commendable efforts, including scoring twice and winning two Man of the Match Awards, Kudus couldn’t propel the Black Stars past the first round of the 2023 AFCON.
