Ghana Black Stars player Caleb Yirenkyi has extended his contract with Danish Super Liga side FC Nordsjaelland after an impressive start to life with the club.
The 19 year old product of the Right To Dream Academy has signed a contract extension that is set to end in 2030 as he continues to build on his improving CV that has led him to become a regular feature in Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team, the Black Stars.
Yirenkyi featured in Ghana’s 1-0 win over Comoros that sealed Ghana’s qualification to the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the US, Mexico and Canada.
Speaking to the club after signing the deal, Yirenkyi, who plays as a right central midfielder, right winger and as a wing back, said.
“I’m happy about the extension, and now I just want to continue to push on and do as well as I possibly can for FC Nordsjælland.”
“Over the past year, I’ve learned an incredible amount, and the coaches and my teammates always make sure that I’m still learning something new every single day.”
In the 2025-2026 season, Yirenkyi has a goal and two assists in 13 games in all competitions for Nordsjaelland.
