Former Manchester United and France national team player Patrice Evra has revealed that he already feels the love in his short time in Ghana and can’t wait to try the Ghana jollof.
The 41-year-old landed in Ghana on Monday evening as part of his tour around African countries and was well received by the supporters union of Ghana and some Manchester United fans.
He looks forward to seeing more Ghanaians during his short stay in the country.
“I have already seen everything [in Ghana]. Look at the love. I want to see the people, the Ghanaian people. I will definitely try the jollof, it’s my first time here in Ghana and I’m already overwhelmed,” he told TV3.
“The jollof! the jollof I need to try it,” he added.
Evra retired from professional football in 2019.
