Ghanaian midfielder, Enock Adu Kofi has disclosed that he regrets turning down opportunity to play for the Danish senior national team .
The former Malmö FF and Club Brugge midfielder despite his exploits in Europe is yet to feature for the senior national team, the Black Stars.
Speaking in an interview, Adu Kofi revealed that he was offered the opportunity to play for Danish national team during his days with FC Nordsjaelland.

According to him, he rejected the opportunity because he was hoping to play for the Black Stars which has not happened.
“When I was playing for FC Nordsjaelland, Denmark spoke to me about switching nationality to play for them but I declined because I was at my peak and I was hoping to earn a call-up to play for the Black Stars,” the 33-year-old told Pure FM.
Quizzed if he has any regret with his decision to turn down the opportunity, he said, “Yeah. Sometimes when it comes to mind, I feel sad because I was hoping to play for Black Stars which did not happen so I sometimes regret it.”
Adu Kofi currently plays for Finnish club, Ekenäs IF.
