Ghana Premier League side Bibiani Gold Stars goalkeeper Joseph Baah has apologized for his unsportsmanlike attitude in Saturday’s clash against Hearts of Oak SC.
The Green and Yellow outfits succumbed to a 2-1 away loss to the Phobians in the Ghana top-flight League at the Accra Sports Stadium last Saturday afternoon.
“I sincerely apologize for my conduct last Saturday in our week 4 league match with Accra Hearts of Oak.”
“I will take responsibility of all the consequences due to my actions though this is unsual of me. Please my sincere apology goes to the family of Goldstars and my colleagues extending to the whole Accra Hearts of Oak team and all.”
“Please all should have a forgiving heart for me – I am sorry and never to repeat such an act again,” the team posted on the official Facebook handle.
The goalie was sent off after hitting Ouatching Yassan in the face after committing an unpardonable error by catching a back pass in the second half of the match.
