Former Ghana coach Kwasi Appiah says he will make himself available and apply for the opportunity to become the Black Stars coach for the third time.
The head coach role has been vacant following Otto Addo’s resignation after Ghana’s exit from the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Appiah, whose second spell at the helm of the team saw him take charge of 20 games, was given the sack in January 2020 with Charles Kwablan Akonnor taking over.
The former Ghanaian footballer had previously led the team from 2012 to 2014, including their involvement at the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
Appiah hasn’t ruled out working for the team for a third time, either.
“It depends on how they put it out there. If I think it is enticing then automatically I will,” he told Joy Sports when quizzed about whether he will apply for the Black Stars job.
