Ghanaian midfielder, Mohammed Kudus has revealed that he aims to perform well in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Kudus has been a key player for the Black Stars, scoring five goals in eight matches so far. He looks set to make an appearance in his first world cup tournament.
Speaking to TV3 in an interview, Kudus revealed his goal for Qatar.
“It feels really good to be honest [going to my first world cup] but it will be better with better performances and leaving a mark over there [in Qatar]. The goal is not just to play at the World Cup. The goal is to leave a mark as a nation and we really want to do well,” he said.
Ghana have been drawn in Group H with Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay.
