Ghana youth international Mathew Anim Cudjoe has revealed his ambition for the 2023/24 season after impressing in pre-season.
The forward was one of the players singled out by Dundee United manager Jim Goodwin during the pre-season period after playing a key role in all of the club’s games.
Anim Cudjoe was instrumental for the Tangerines and was handed the Man of the Match award during the Scottish League Cup win over Falkirk last month.
The only missing from his game at the moment is goals and the Ghanaian is determined to unlock that side of his game in the new season as the opening week approaches, the player has made his targets known.
“It (this season) has been a very good time for me and I think I am starting to show my quality to everyone. I am happy to start every game and, when the coach selects me, I want to prove myself,” he told Scotland-based Courier Sport.
“When I have the ball; when I don’t have the ball — I will do all I can for the team.
“I feel like I am doing everything else at the moment, but I want to score goals. The goals need to come soon. That time will come, and to score goals for Dundee United and their fans will make me happy.”
