Al Ahly coach Pitso Mosimane says he want to stay at Africa’s greatest ever football club for at least seven years ahead of his team’s FIFA Club World Cup semi-final match against Palmeiras of Brazil.
The Reds will face Brazil’s Palmeiras in the semi-finals, the same team they beat on penalties last year in the third-place playoff.
Ahly beat Monterry to reach the semifinals and South African coach Mosimane wants to emulate Manuel Jose at the club.
“Al Ahly is a very big club and came to the UAE with great ambitions, and we have to be humble and for myself, I dream a lot of continuing years and years here until I am an Al Ahly legend like Manuel Jose.
“I hope to spend seven years at Al Ahly like Jose, which is a very difficult thing that I strive for,” he added.
