Ghanaian-German winger Christian Conteh has signed a contract with Eintracht Braunschweig until 2026, and is thrilled to start a new chapter in his career with the Lions.
The 24-year-old, who was previously with VfL Osnabrück, expressed his delight at finally joining the team and becoming a part of the Eintracht family.
“I’m happy to finally be here and a lion,” Conteh said. “I was able to get to know some of the boys from the team today and immediately gained positive impressions. Of course I want to play in front of this great backdrop in Braunschweig and win games together with the team.”
Conteh, who was trained at FC St. Pauli and Feyenoord Rotterdam, has had several loan positions since 2020, including at SV Sandhausen and Dynamo Dresden. Last year, he moved to VfL Osnabrück, where he played 31 games and was directly involved in six goals.
In total, Conteh has played 41 games in the 2nd Bundesliga, scoring six goals and providing four assists, and 26 appearances in the 3rd league, scoring three goals and providing three assists.
