Former Asante Kotoko great, Malik Jabir, has expressed his contentment with the performance of the Kotoko players in their goalless draw against Heart of Lions last Sunday.
Kotoko was held to a draw by the Kpando-based club in their opening game of the 2023-24 Ghana Premier League season.
Jabir, who once served as Kotoko’s coach, has revealed that he was pleased with the team’s determination but acknowledges that there are certain areas where they need improvement.
He conveyed to Kessben Sports: “During the first match, as Coach Malik Jabir, I was impressed with their fighting spirit, even though the coach has a few things to correct.”
Kotoko’s next game is an away match against Bibiani Gold Stars on Saturday.
