Coach Aboubakar Ouattara has expressed significant disappointment after his side’s 1-0 defeat to Aduana Stars at home.
Kelvin Obeng scored the decisive goal in the 11th minute, ensuring Aduana Stars’ victory in week 30 of the Ghana Premier League. This result leaves the Rainbows in 12th place, just 5 points above the relegation zone.
Speaking to StarTimes shortly after the game, the Ivorian tactician pledged to address the team’s issues ahead of Sunday’s Super Clash against Asante Kotoko.
“I can’t identify any player who played well in my team today. We are taking all the faults, but I will deal with them. I will not leave them because I can’t accept all these things.
“You played a good game just ten days ago and you came to play like this today. I don’t understand. We are in the danger zone and we need more points to escape. I don’t understand,” said Aboubakar Ouattara.
Hearts of Oak will trek to Kumasi to face rivals Asante Kotoko next weekend in the second Super Clash of the season.
