Disqualified Ghana Football Association presidential aspirant, George Afriyie has said that he will not go to the Court of Arbitration for Sports to seek redress.
According to George Afriyie, he will use the structures in Ghana football to fight his battles.
George Afriyie made this statement in reaction to a publication made by Graphic Sports that he is taking the matter to the Court of Arbitration for Sports.
“No I don’t where Graphic is coming from maybe they have seen something that I haven’t seen. But as far as ai am concerned I will go through the process I am a student of the game I understand our statute and the regulations.”
“I have gone through elections this is my fifth time in 2005 I contested for executive position, in 2011 I contested, in 2015 I contested, in 2019 I contested for the position of President so I have gone through elections so I am very much abreast with statutes and our regulations. And I will use the proper channels to seek redress,” he told Peace FM in an interview.
Meanwhile George Afriyie is currently contesting the decision of the GFA Vetting Committee in his disqualification from the presidential elections.
