Black Stars defender Daniel Amartey says he is willing to slot in at any position the manager will give him following his move to Besiktas.
The Ghanaian was officially announced as a new signing on Friday evening, bringing an end to his seven-year stay in England with Leicester City.
Amartey penned a three-year deal with the Turkish club keeping him there until the summer of 2026.
Speaking in his first interview with the club’s media, the versatile player said he is ready to play anywhere for the team and the manager.
“In my career, I have played as a defender, right-back and defensive midfielder. I feel better as a defender,” he said.
“But I don’t care where I play. I respect my manager’s decision, I will play wherever he wants me to play.”
