Italian Serie A side, Cagliari prodigy Ibrahim Sulemana, has expressed his heartfelt desire to represent the Black Stars.
At just 20 years old, Sulemana has already showcased immense talent as a defensive midfielder in Europe, playing a key role in Hellas Verona’s successful campaign last season.
His outstanding performances caught the attention of Cagliari, leading to a significant move in the summer transfer window.
“I would love to play for Ghana, I love my country,” he told the club’s website.
With the upcoming season, Sulemana is geared up to compete for a spot in Claudio Ranieri’s starting lineup. He firmly believes that he possesses the qualities to become an integral player for the club.
“I love expressing my characteristics, whatever position the coach wants to put me in to help the team. If I had to choose, I would like to play central midfield. Knowing how to use both feet in football is essential and I’m improving a lot to grow in this respect. Shooting from distance is definitely one of my main characteristics,” he added.
With his promising talent and determination, Ibrahim Sulemana aspires to make a significant impact on the football scene and potentially represent his nation on the grand stage with the Black Stars.
