Birmingham City manager Chris Davies is impressed with the debut display of Ghanaian forward Ibrahim Osman.
The Black Stars forward, who joined the Blues on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion, was immediately handed his debut, playing 56 minutes of the 1-1 draw against Stoke on Sunday.
Despite arriving at St Andrews last week, Osman settled in quickly, and was a menace with his pace and directness against The Potters.
“I thought Osman showed his pace, that is his key strength, key asset. He showed his pace and direction,” said Davies.
Davies believes Osman and other winter arrivals have improved his squad for the remainder of the campaign.
“(Jhon) Solis showed his physical in midfield, that is his key strength and (August Flyger) Priske showed what a handful he is as a 9 so they are players who really want to make an impact and I think they have improved our squad definitely,” he added.
Osman had spent the first half of the season on loan at French outfit Auxerre before returning to England in January.
The Right to Dream Academy graduate is yet to make a competitive debut for Brighton since his move from Nordsjaelland in 2024.
