Former Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has urged the Black Stars to secure maximum points in their upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar.
Ghana will host Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, March 21, at 19:00 GMT before traveling to Morocco to face Madagascar at the Grand Stade d’Al Hoceima on Monday, March 24, for their Matchday 6 fixture.
With Ghana’s recent performances falling below expectations, Agyemang-Badu, a member of the Black Stars squad at the 2014 World Cup, has called on the players to remain focused and ensure victories in both matches.
“Operation six points. Chad and Madagascar must go down,” he declared in an interview with *Sporty FM*.
“If we can’t beat them, then we have no business going to the World Cup,” he added.
After four matches, Ghana sits joint top of Group I alongside Comoros with nine points, following consecutive wins against Mali and the Central African Republic (CAR).
The Black Stars are aiming to qualify for their fifth FIFA World Cup, set to be hosted by the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
