Hearts of Oak SC legend Charles Taylor is not happy with the club’s decision to part ways with midfielder Frederick Ansah Botchway.
According to him, if coach Samuel Boadu is responsible for the sacking of the player then he’s not a good coach for the 2000 CAF Champions League winners.
Taylor started that if the head coach for the Phobians is the one that asked the board to terminate Frederick Ansah Botchway’s contract with the club then he’s not a good coach.
“Samuel Boadu is NOT a good coach if he really told Hearts board that Ansah Botchway is Surplus to requirement. I would be very surprised if he took that decision” -Charles Taylor on Angel TV.
Hearts of Oak recently described the player as surplus and no longer needed at the club ahead of the 2022-23 season which starts in September in Ghana.
The midfielder had a great season during the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League season and helped the Phobians to win both the Premier League title and the MTN FA Cup trophy.
He also played a pivotal role in the Phobians MTN FA CUP triumph this just ended season before he was released by the Rainbow Boys.
