Asante Kotoko board member Evelyn Nsiah-Asare is confident that the Porcupine Warriors will beat rivals Hearts of Oak on Sunday in the Ghana Premier League matchday 24 Super Clash.
The two biggest clubs in Ghana will meet at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi at 6 pm local time.
Despite having a comfortable 13-point lead over Hearts, Kotoko appear to be under pressure to defeat the Phobians.
Hearts pipped Kotoko to the 2022 President’s Cup after the first meeting ended in a goalless draw at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Nsiah-Asare told Oyerepa FM ahead of the game that she feels Asante Kotoko Cameroonian strikers Mfegue and Mbella can do the job for her.
And if Kotoko does not win, she plans to walk from Kumasi to Sunyani.
“I will carry each player at my back,” she added.
The distance between Kumasi and Sunyani is 122.1 kilometres, and it would take her 25 hours to go between the two cities.
If Kotoko win on Sunday, the margin between them and their archrivals will grow to 16 points.
The points gap will, however, be reduced to 10 should Hearts of Oak win the big clash on Sunday in Kumasi.
