Ghana center-back Alexander Djiku believes he’s fit enough to get going again this weekend for his club side Fenerbahce SK in the Turkish Super Lig.
His team will take on unbeaten side Hatayaspor in the round nine of the 2023-24 Turkish top-flight hoping to make it nine wins out of nine matches so far this season in the league.
He was out of Ghana’s Black Stars two friendly matches in the United States of America against the two north American giants Mexico and United States of America which both games ended in defeats in his absence.
“I had an injury, but I think I will be ready for the match. We made it 16 out of 16, but every match in this league is difficult, every team does their best.”
“Hatay is one of the undefeated teams. We want to continue the series by showing our own game. It will be a difficult match,” he told Tivibu Spor.
The 29-year-old Ghanaian international defender has one goal and one Team-Of-The-Week appearance to his name in eight outings since joining the club.
