Ghana’s Black Stars head coach Chris Hughton says he’s hoping for Ghana’s Black Stars young defender Tariq Lamptey get more play time this season.
According to him, Lamptey is still young and needs more minutes under the Roberto De Zerbi this season in the English Premier League and the UEFA Europa League.
Speaking on what he expects from the promising defender, Hughton said he hopes the Ghana international stays fit and gets more game time under Roberto De Zerbi.
“Tariq Lamptey had a wonderful start at Brighton and it was a pleasure watching but he could not finish the season due to an injury,” he told talkSPORTS.
“He was out in the latter part of last season but has got a good coach (Roberto De Zerbi) who has a good squad so I am hoping he can get game time because he needs that because he is still young,” he added.
