“I’m not the player who scored the RTU consolation goal against Dreams FC, I’m currently in Tamale” – Hillary Adabo

In a monumental match at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu, Dreams FC secured their most significant victory in the Ghana Premier League, triumphing 8-1 over relegated Real Tamale United (RTU).

This emphatic win marks the highest scoreline of the season, with Dreams FC’s attacker claiming five goals and Benjamin Bature netting a brace. Dede Ishmael also contributed a goal, while Lord Hilary Adabo provided the consolation for RTU.

However, in a surprising twist, Lord Hilary Adabo of Real Tamale United has refuted claims of scoring a goal against Dreams FC in today’s match. Speaking on Promise Radio 102.7, Adabo clarified that he is currently in Tamale and did not participate in any game.

“I am not the player who scored the RTU goal against Dreams FC today. I am currently in Tamale and I didn’t play any game today,” Adabo stated. “I’ve seen on social media that I scored a goal, but all I can say is that there’s only one Adabo in RTU and I’m in Tamale.”

Adabo’s statement has stirred speculation about the true identity of the goal scorer, prompting football fans to eagerly await explanations from the teams and league officials to resolve the confusion.

Meanwhile, Adabo’s denial has ignited a lively debate on social media, with fans sharing their thoughts and theories regarding the mysterious goal scorer.
