Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo has expressed his willingness to join Arsenal or any team competing in the UEFA Champions League in the future. The Bournemouth attacker, aged 24, shared that this is a major goal for him, though he acknowledges the challenges involved in reaching that level.
Semenyo’s strong performances last season, along with his excellent start to the current campaign — where he has already scored three goals and provided one assist — have caught the attention of several top Premier League clubs. Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United, and Liverpool are all reportedly interested in him.
When speaking with The Athletic, Semenyo was asked if he would consider signing for Arsenal. In response, he said, “Yeah, any team that plays Champions League, Europa (League) — that’s the aim. I know that’s not going to come with a click of my fingers, it’s going to take some time.”
He further added, “It’s going to take goals. It’s going to take a lot of consistent performances. But I’ve worked all my life for that, and I’m just going to continue working hard. That’s my mentality.”
Semenyo’s ambitions are clear, and with his current form, his dream of playing at the highest level in Europe may be within reach soon.
