Accra Hearts of Oak SC midfield-gem, Abdul Aziz Nurudeen has expressed how happy he feels after returning from a nine month injury lay-off.
The defensive midfielder since returning from injury has been a pivot for the Phobians helping them to keep two clean sheets in a role.
He was out of the double winning season for the Rainbow Boys as they ended their 12 year wait for their first silver since winning the 2009 Ghana Premier League.
Hearts of Oak won the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League and the MTN FA Cup Competition respectively whiles the midfielder was on the sidelines.
In an interview with phobianews.com Nurudeen, who was sidelined for nine months, described the feeling of being able to play competitively again as ‘amazing.’
“Obviously I’m really, really happy and so blessed to be back and be fully fit now, and I’m enjoying being back with the team,” he explained.
Adding that he is feeling ‘great’, Nurudeen said, “I’ve been training well and I’ve been doing some extra work. And my teammates have helped me come back and feel confident.”
