His performance was key in staving off a dominant Roma side that controlled 75% of possession but failed to break down Elfsborg’s defense.
Fellow Ghanaian defender Terry Yegbe also played a crucial role in helping Elfsborg resist Roma’s attacking waves. Despite the Italian side’s relentless pressure, Elfsborg’s defense held firm, earning a valuable three points.
