‘Inaki and Nico Williams are ready to play for Ghana’ – Kennedy Agyapong

‘Inaki and Nico Williams are ready to play for Ghana’ – Kennedy Agyapong

Top Ghanaian politician Kennedy Agyapong has disclosed that the Inaki Brothers of Spanish La Liga side Athletic Bilbao are very much ready to play for Ghana at the senior level.

According to him, the Ghana Football Association contacted him to speak to the players to change their minds to play for Ghana at the senior level.

He said the players are willing and are ready to play for Black Stars but are afraid of the incessant criticism by the Ghana media houses on players that play for Ghana.

“The Ghana Football Association came to see me that I have close ties with them. They told me they want to play but the way we criticize these players is too much especially the media so they get discouraged because of that they don’t want to”.- Kennedy Agyapong on Inaki brothers

 

The two brothers are excelling at club side in Spain and could bring a lot of quality to the Ghana team under the coaching team of Otto Addo, Chris Hughton, Didi Dramani, and George Boateng respectively.

 

Ghana will take on Portugal on 24th November before taking on Uruguay and Korea in Group H at the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament.
