Former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan is impressed by the commitment and passion exhibited by Inaki Williams in the team.
Williams has started both of Ghana’s games in the World Cup and although he is yet to find the net, fans have lauded him for his selfless efforts in the team, especially during Ghana’s 3-2 win over South Korea.
Gyan has also noticed the efforts and offered him praise.
“Inaki is working tirelessly. He’s doing a couple of runs that makes defenders very tired. Even though some of his runs are wrong, he’s giving everything and this is what we need in the national team. Although he’s not used to the team, he’s playing with the heart. He’s giving everything,” he told 3Sports
Inaki and Ghana will face Uruguay in their final group game on Friday at 3PM Ghana time.
