Athletic Bilbao striker Inaki Williams is the perfect fit for Ghana’s Black Stars attack for the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar later this year.
The Bosque-born Ghanaian forward over the years has matured from just being a striker to becoming a complete Center-forward with his versatility.
The Ghanaian forward has not missed a single La Liga game in the past four years starting every single game for the Red, Whites and Blacks outfit.
Inaki doesn’t only play as a Center-forward but can also play across the frontline making him a very versatile and utility player.
With his ability to link play with the midfielders and his ability to hold onto the ball and play his team mates with intelligent through passes, he’s become a very important player for his club.
By by the Athletic Bilbao’s academy, he has made over 300 first-team appearances for the club, including a La Liga record of over 200 consecutive games. He won the 2020–21 Supercopa de España.
He is the first black footballer, also of African descent, to score a goal with the red and white jersey.
He’s very fast and furious with a lot of power in his tank and has an eye for goal which will make him a successful attacker for Ghana’s senior national team.

After his nationality switch, the striker is expected to lead Ghana to the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar in November.
