Indy Eleven head coach Mark Lowry as well as the President of the club Greg Streanlaw are happt with the signing of Ghanaian star Solomon Asante.
The experienced winger joined Indy on a two-year deal on Monday and the two men have lauded his signing as they believe he can help the club
“To be able to add a player of Solomon Asante’s quality and caliber to our club shows the ambition we have,” said Indy Eleven Head Coach Mark Lowry. “Building a winning team and a club that consistently competes for championships requires having strong characters and winning mentalities in the locker room, and Solo definitely checks those boxes for us.”
Club President Greg Streamlaw also stressed that Asante is a great player who has what it takes to lift the club up
“Solomon’s individual numbers speak for themselves, but it’s his ability to make his teammates better and raise the level of a squad that makes him a truly gifted player and one we sought highly,” Indy Eleven President & CEO Greg Stremlaw stated.
“We are thrilled to have him be an important contributor to the winning culture we are building under Coach Lowry moving forward.”
Asante spent four successful years at Phoenix Rising where he made 103 appearances scoring 49 goals and providing 43 assists.
