Injuries have made me tough mentally – Baba Rahman

Reading defender Abdul Baba Rahman says the numerous injuries he has suffered in his career in recent times have made him a better person mentally.

Rahman grew up as one of Ghana’s best left-backs as he flourished in the German Bundesliga with Augsburg.

However, the player has not continued on that line with his recent performances triggering criticism from Ghanaians.

But Baba says the hard times he has had to endure have only made him a much stronger person than he was before.

“I also had to adapt to how it changed my body. It has also made me tough, much more than I was before,” he told the Star Connect team in an interview.

“Because having these kinds of injuries and having to battle it and getting back to playing, it shows mentally prepared I was.”

Rahman currently plays with Reading in England where he has been involved in their last two games since returning from the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
