Ghana Premier League side Medeama SC defender Abdul Fatawu Hamidu is likely to see some minutes for the Black Stars team as they face the United States of America.
The defender trained with the rest of the Black Stars team on Monday after Medeama’s game against DC United to start preparation for the game in Nashville.
With GGideon Mensah’s average performance in the game against the El Tricolor of Mexico last time around, the defender could be given a chance to shine against the United States of America.
He excelled for Ghana in the game against west Africa brothers The Lone Stars of Liberia in a friendly match on Tuesday, September 12 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
With that performance ringing a bell in Chris Hughton’s mind, the young lad could find himself in the team against the Americans at 1am on Wednesday.
