Ghana’s Black Galaxies suffered defeat on Tuesday evening in Austria in an international friendly game against FIFA World Cup hosts.
Black Galaxies lost 1-2 to Qatar in the friendly in Austria despite playing very well against the Asians.
Accra Hearts of Oak SC star forward Daniel Afriyie Barnieh scored the consolation in 69th minute for the Black Galaxies.
They will face Nigeria in the final phase of the 2022 CHAN qualifiers and are in Austria to play a mini tournament ahead of the crucial encounter.
