German-based defender Jeremie Frimpong is over the moon following his team’s impressive win over Hungary giant Ferencvárosi TC in Budapest.
The Dutch-born Ghanaian defender who plays as a wing-back was very impressive on the day for the German Bundesliga side who eased their way through to the next stage of the 2022-23 competition.
The right-back played full 82 minutes for Xabi Alinso’s team when they traveled to beat Ferencvárosi to reach the quarter final of the 2022-23 UEFA Europa League season.
He has phenomenal in all competitions this season for the Red and Blacks outfit in the German Bundesliga, DFB Pokal UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League.
The Ghanaian has seven goals and six assists in 24 appearances for Leverkusen in the Germany Bundesliga and has got two assists each in the Champions League and the Europa League respectively.
