Ghanaian youngster Kwame Poku has emerged as a winter transfer target for English Championship side Ipswich Town with a month to go until the window opens.
The Tractor Boys are keeping an eye on Poku, as are Sunderland, West Bromwich Albion, Millwall, Stoke City, and Bristol City, according to UK-based TEAMtalk.
Poku joined Peterborough United from Colchester United in August 2021, and he has had a fantastic season for Darren Ferguson’s side, scoring eight goals and contributing eight assists in 24 games across all competitions.
The winger would surely be an exciting acquisition for Ipswich, but it appears that they may have stiff competition for his signature, with Peterborough owner Darragh MacAnthony expected to demand a high amount.
Poku has been a stunning player in this season’s League One so far scoring seven goals and setting up another six in 18 games.
