Former Kotoko manager Prosper Narteh Ogum has been listed as a serious candidate to join Hearts of Oak, Sportsworldghana.com can exclusively confirm.
Ogum managed Kotoko during the 2021/22 season where he helped them to clinch the Ghana Premier League title in beautiful style, dominating all opponents.
Kotoko later let him go due to a rift between him and the board of the club.
But Hearts of Oak are now without a head coach and Ogum has been listed as a potential candidate to take over in the next few weeks.
The Phobians have made steps in recruiting him, now taking on David Ocloo as an assistant coach, a tactician he worked with closely in the 2021/22 season.
For now, Ogum is focused on the Black Galaxies, where he serves as one of the assistant coaches. But that could change in a few weeks with Hearts of Oak making steps to give him control.
