Ghanaian winger Isaac Nuhu made a dream debut for KAS Eupen in the Belgian Challenger Pro League, scoring a crucial goal in their 3-0 win over Club Liège on Sunday, August 18.
The 22-year-old forward netted the second goal for his team, helping them secure a comfortable lead and begin their quest for quick promotion to the Jupiler Pro League.
Nuhu’s strike came from the left side of the six-yard box, finding the bottom right corner following a set-piece situation. The goal gave KAS Eupen a 2-0 lead, and they never looked back. Regan Charles-Cook sealed the win for the team with a strike from the center of the box into the top right corner, assisted by Nathan Bitumazala.
The win was a perfect start to the Belgian second tier for Eupen and Nuhu, who replaced David Widlarz with seven minutes remaining.
The match also saw Renaud Emond score the opening goal for KAS Eupen from the penalty spot with a right-footed shot into the bottom right corner.
