Turkish top-flight side Istanbul Basaksehir have unveiled their new signing born in England to Ghanaian parent, Jerome Opoku.
The have announced the signing of Ghanaian defender Jerome Opoku on a season long loan deal after his impressive showings in the Portuguese top flight.
The Bulky defender joins the Turkish outfit from Liga Portugal side FC Arouca on loan with buy option in June, 2024
“Our club reached an agreement with Jerome Opoku, who plays for the Portuguese team Arouca, on loan with an option to purchase until the end of the 2023-2024 season.”
“Our team continued its preparations for the match against Istanbulspor in the 5th week of the Super League with its training today”, the club announced.




He formerly played for English Premier League side Fulham FC and Accrington Stanley FC in England and Vejle Boldklub in Denmark.
