Ghanaian defender, Jonas Jensen-Abbew was over the moon after scoring his first goal for FC Nordsjaelland.
Jonas Jensen-Abbew on Thursday, October 26, scored his first goal for FC Nordsjaelland in the ongoing 2023/2024 UEFA Conference League against Trnava.
FC Nordsjaelland defeated Trnava 2-0 to move to the second position in Group H.
Reacting to the his first goal and his team’s victory, Jensen-Abbew described the night as perfect.
“I see the ball coming towards Lucas Hey and that he gets his head on it. Then I just slice it and watch it go in. We had a similar situation in training where I also get to score, so it was a bit of a rehearsed one,” he said.
“It was my first goal in FC Nordsjælland, which feels absolutely fantastic. It’s great to be able to come in and make a difference and help the team – that’s the most important thing. I guess it was the perfect night for me, so I can’t ask for much more,” he added
