Enoch Owusu, a Ghanaian youngster born in Italy, found the back of the net in Inter Milan’s under-19 team’s 2-2 draw against AC Milan under-19s at the PUMA House of Football on Friday.
AC Milan had a promising start but soon faced a setback when Francesco Pio Esposito scored in the 10th minute, smashing the ball home after receiving a pass from Dennis Curatolo.
The match started off in a frenetic manner, and in the 16th minute, Victor Eletu equalized for AC Milan. He received a cross from Andrea Bozzolan and struck a low left-footed shot into the corner of the net.
Just three minutes later, Enoch Owusu unleashed a powerful right-footed shot that left goalkeeper Devis Vasquez with no chance.
In the 25th minute, Kamate and Owusu combined with some neat passing, but Kamate’s subsequent shot narrowly missed the target.
At the start of the second half, Hugo Cuenca came close to scoring for AC Milan, but his effort went wide. In the 62nd minute, Francesco Pio Esposito’s free-kick hit the crossbar, denying him a second goal.
AC Milan’s hopes of a comeback were dealt a blow when Michele Casali received a red card (two yellows) in the 72nd minute. However, Hugo Cuenca managed to equalize for AC Milan in the 74th minute, keeping their chances alive.
